vCentare Server 5.5 Installation.

Prerequisites.

> Intel or AMD x64 processor with two or more logical cores, each with a speed of 2 GHz.
> 1 Gbps Network speed
> 50 to 60 GB free disk space
> Windows 2008 Bit 64 SP2 and above

Steps to Install vCentare Server 5.5.

> Insert "VMware-VIMSetup-all-5.5.0-2105955-20140901-update02" DVD / .iso in a DVD drive and run the file autorun from windows explorer.


  
> Click on Install button to continue.

  
> In Simple Install Setup window click Next tab to continue.

  
> Select I accept the terms in the License Agreement and click Next to continue.

  
> Select Windows machine IP address as network interface and click on Next button.

  
 > In Simple Install Prerequisites Check click Next to continue.

  
> For Single Sign-On Information set Administrator password and click Next to continue.


> Define Site name and click Next to continue.


> Keep the HTTPS port to 7444 and click Next to continue.

  
> If you want to change default installation folder than click on Change button otherwise click Next to continue.

  
> Click on Install to continue.

  
> Installation is started now.

  
> Click Yes to accept for default SSL certificate.

  
> Apply license key and click Next to continue.
Note: If click on Next without license key than vCentare server will install as 60 days trial version with enable full functionality.

  
> Click on Ïnstall a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express instance and click Next to continue.
Note: MS SQL Express edition support only 5 hosts and 50 virtual machines. If you have any other database in you network than click on Use an existing supported database.

  
> Select Use Windows Local System Account and click Next to continue.

  
> Click Next to continue.

  
> In JVM Memory window select Inventory Size as per your lab requirement and click Next to continue.

  
> Click on Install button to continue.


> Click Yes to accept SSL certificate and continue.

  
> MS SQL 2008 Express edition installation started now.

  
> Click on Finish button once installation complied.

  
> Click on OK and exit the installer.

  
> Open vSphere Client and and type VCentare server IP, Username :- administrator@vsphere.local and Password ( Which we had set at the time of installation )
Click on Login to continue.

  
> You will get the following after loging to vSphere client.
