Installation of Hyper-V in Windows 2012

Installation of  Hyper-V in Windows 2012.

Prerequisites.

> Installed Windows Server 2012 Standard / Datacentare Edition
> AMD / Intel Bit 64 Processor with VT Enabled.

Steps to Install.

> Loging to Windows 2012 server with Administrator user and click on Server Manager ikon.


> In Server Manager window click on Manage button and select Add Roles and Features option.


> Click Next to continue.


> Select Role-based or feature-based installation and click on Next button.


> Click on Select a server from the server pool option and than click on Next button.


> In Roles option select Hyper-V option.


> Select Include management tools (if applicable) and click on Add Features button.


> Click Next to continue.


> Click Next to continue.


> Click Next to continue.


> Select available Ethernet and click Next to continue.


> Select Allow this server to send and receive live migrations of virtual machines, and Use Credential Security Support Provider (CredSSP) option and click Next to continue.


> Click Next to continue. To change the default virtual machine path click on Browse button.


> Select Restart the destination server automatically if required and click on Yes button.
Click Install to continue.


> Installation started now.


> Machine is ready to reboot now.


> Once the machine is restarted click on Close button to exit the Installation process.


> In Server Manager click on Tools and select Hyper-V Manager option.


> Hyper-V Manager is open to create and mange Virtual Machines.
